Why we made this kit
Starting a practice at home is hard without a teacher. You do not know where to sit, what to hold, or what to do for the first ten minutes.
The kit answers those three questions. The mat gives you a place to sit. The crystals, the wand and the salts give your hands something to do. The ataala app gives you a teacher, one short session at a time, taught by the practitioner who consecrated your crystals.
Our founder has practised in the Indian tradition for years, and she put the kit together from the things she uses herself. Every piece is sourced and made in India, and we say where.
India is the home of this practice
Yoga, meditation and the study of prana, the Sanskrit word for life energy, began in India. They were taught and written down there more than two thousand years ago, and people still travel to India from all over the world to learn them at their source.
We make our kits in India for that reason. The knowledge behind the practice, the materials in the box and the crafts that shape them all come from the same place.

What is in the box
This is the Full Kit. The Small Kit has the mat, a smaller jar, three crystals and the cards. The Black Kit sets the same practice around the evening, a stressful day and focused work.
Sitting mat
A small square mat in red cloth with a woven gold border, about 50 cm across. You sit on it to practise, and it folds flat.
Tailored in our own workshop in India
Bath salts, 250g glass jar
Lake salt with dried rose petals and rose oil. The jar is made to be refilled.

Five crystals
Apophyllite, stilbite, carnelian, moss agate and banded agate. Each one is hand selected and consecrated by our founder.

A code card in the box unlocks ataala Plus. The app leads you through your first weeks one guided session at a time, and the practice cards show every step when you would rather leave your phone in another room.
Three months with the Full Kit, two with the Black Kit, one with the Small Kit
Three kits, one price all year
The Small Kit is £68, the Black Kit is £120 and the Full Kit is £175. We do not run sales or send discount codes, so the price you see is the price everybody pays.
The first 200 kits are numbered, and they go to the people on the waitlist first. When the kits are ready we write to you, you choose your kit, and your number is printed on the origin record in your box.
Your kit passes through four stages, and we can show you each one
We buy from people we have met, we tailor the mat in our own workshop, and we write down who did what. Follow the whole journey.
Sourcing
Salt from Sambhar Lake, roses from Pushkar and stones from Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Making
Our own tailors cut and finish every sitting mat in our workshop in India.
Consecration
Our founder hand selects every crystal and consecrates each batch herself.
Packing
We pack each box by hand and add a dated origin record.
